asked the Minister for the Environment when approval for a house improvement grant will be given to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

Approval of a grant will be further considered on receipt from the applicant of evidence of planning permission for the proposed improvements and confirmation that the house will be occupied as a normal place of residence on completion of work. The applicant has been so informed.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

Payment of the grant will be further considered on receipt of certain information relating to the carrying out of the work which has been requested from the applicant.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in a processing a reconstruction grant for a person (details supplied) in County Louth; when an inspection will be held; and when the grant will be paid.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will expedite a home improvement grant for persons (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

An inspection, with a view to the approval of a grant, will be carried out within the next few weeks.

123.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a mortgage subsidy for a new house due to persons (details supplied) in County Limerick; and if he will further say when the moneys due can be paid.

There has been no undue delay in the case. The first instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be paid when a claim form, duly completed and certified by the lending agency, is received.
