Vol. 370 No. 10

Written Answers. - Tallaght Hospital.

82.

asked the Minister for Health whether moneys intended to be spent on the building of the Tallaght Hospital have been allocated to hospital projects in other parts of the country.

The detailed planning and design work for the Tallaght hospital development is currently being carried out and a start has been made on the site works in advance of the main building contract.

The capital funding requirements of this project and of all the other projects in the health capital programme are being reviewed at present in my Department. I can assure the House that no other hospital project has been allocated any of the funds that will be required for the building of Tallaght Hospital.
