My Department in October 1984 approved a sketch scheme for the provision of an additional classroom and some ancillary accommodation at the national school referred to. It would appear that this scheme may not be appropriate to the needs of the school in the light of a recent review of enrolment trends, and may have to be revised. My Department has, however, in the meantime agreed in principle to grant-aid the provision of prefabricated classrooms to meet the short-term needs of the school, and arrangements for their supply are under discussion with the school authorities.
