The only centre in County Clare where the Commissioners of Public Works are considering the provision of office accommodation is in Ennis. The provision of new centralised Government offices as part of a long term strategy to rationalise the State's accommodation requirements in Ennis has been the intention for some time. In present economic circumstances it is not possible to say when the project might get under way.
