asked the Minister for Health if he will give details of the statutory bodies currently under the aegis of his Department; the total number of persons other than civil servants appointed by him to these bodies; the number of such persons whose current address is outside the State; and the total number of such persons with current addresses within each separate county in the State.

There are 39 statutory bodies under the aegis of my Department of which nine are advisory bodies. There are no non-statutory advisory bodies under the aegis of my Department.

2. The total number of persons other than civil servants appointed by me to these bodies is 395.

3. The number of such persons whose current address is outside the State is 1.

4. The Deputy has also requested information in relation to the number of such persons with current addresses within each separate county in the State. With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle I will circulate in the Official Report a tabular statement giving these details.
