Vol. 370 No. 13

Written Answers. - Offaly Bridge Repairs.

188.

Mr. Cowen

asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange for the Office of Public Works to erect as a matter of urgency a protective railing at a bridge at Barnaboy, Kilcormac, Birr, County Offaly due to the dangerous state of the bridge at the moment and the need to take urgent remedial steps to improve the situation at the bridge or carry out whatever repairs are necessary to make the bridge safer than its present state.

The works required at this bridge will be undertaken early in 1987, subject to availability of resources.
