(Limerick West) asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange for an inspection and approval in respect of an application for a house grant from a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

An inspection will be carried out within the next few weeks.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

The grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and that all the conditions of the grant scheme have been fulfilled. The inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for the Environment when the payment of a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

An inspection will be carried out within a few weeks with a view to payment of the grant.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

Grants totalling £7,734 will be paid in this case when it is established that the house is occupied as a permanent residence on a full time basis.

(Limerick West) asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to persons (details supplied) in County Limerick.

An inspection, with a view to payment of a grant, will be carried out within the next few weeks.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will expedite the payment.

An inspection with a view to payment of a grant will be carried out within the next few weeks.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in having payment of a home improvement grant made to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow where the work was inspected and passed over seven weeks ago and all documentation requested by his Department submitted over two weeks ago; and the amount of the grant which will be paid.

There has been no delay in this case. Information was requested from the applicant on 17 October 1986, and full details were received on 4 December. The amount of the grant is £4,666 and this will be paid within the next few weeks.

63.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reasons a grant has not been paid for a group water scheme (details supplied) in County Galway; if he will now pay this grant immediately; the date of payment; and the amount of the grant.

This scheme has been the subject of correspondence between my Department and Galway County Council concerning the quality of water from its source. I hope to be in a position to allocate grants for the scheme in the near future.
