On 19 January 1979 this applicant was given an approval under the farm modernisation scheme for farm structures and it was indicated that the approval would lapse on 31 October 1979. This date was later extended to 30 June 1983 and finally to 31 August 1983. As notification of completion of work was not received by the latter date, the approval lapsed and no grant aid is payable in respect of the works listed thereon.
