On receipt of notification on completion of works a final inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will be awarded an increased rate of grant approval for a second bedroom either under the 1981 scheme or 1985 house improvement grant scheme.
Grants totalling £6,618 have already been approved in this case: £6,018 in respect of the provision of water and sewerage facilities and a bathroom and the carrying out of necessary repairs under the 1985 scheme and £600 in respect of the provisions of a bedroom under the 1981 scheme. It was not possible to allow a grant under the current scheme for the extension on which work had commenced prior to the inspection last February.
