Vol. 371 No. 2

Written Answers. - Tax Rebate.

18.

asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford is entitled to a tax rebate; and, if not, the reason.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, on the basis of details of his employment position which were not supplied by the taxpayer until 19 March 1987 the inspector completed a review of the taxpayer's liabilities for all years from 1981-82 to 1985-86. An overpayment has emerged and a cheque in settlement will be issued to the taxpayer as soon as possible.
