Vol. 371 No. 4

Written Answers. - Dublin School.

41.

asked the Minister for Education if she will consider the permanent appointment of a remedial teacher in Brunswick School, Dublin 7, to cater for the 360 children attending that school; and if so, when this appointment will take place.

The school in question benefits under the special staffing scheme for national schools in areas of disadvantage in that it has, at present, two posts over and above the staffing quota which the enrolment warrants under the rules. In the circumstances, I do not consider that a further post of remedial teacher may be approved in this case.
