Timahoe and Ballydermot bogs will continue to produce peat until about the year 2015. Bord na Móna expect to be in a position to keep supplying Allenwood power station up to about 1990 by which time supplies of turf will be running down. This will broadly coincide with the end of the useful life of the power station. It is expected that production for the domestic market will continue until about 2015.
