asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a house improvement grant has not yet been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Louth.

It has been necessary to defer payment of the grant in this case pending completion of certain outstanding works as notified to the applicant.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in having a new house grant paid to persons (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

There has been no undue delay. A new house grant cannot be paid in this case, as the floor area of the house exceeds the statutory maximum applicable to the first-time purchasers grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment if early payment of new house grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

The grant has been paid.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a final inspection for a house improvement grant will be carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

The inspection will be carried out within the next few weeks.

asked the Minister for the Environment if payment of a new house grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

An inspection will be carried out within the next few weeks to establish whether the house has been completed and occupied and all the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been fulfilled.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a second instalment of a mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as the application has been made since 8 January 1987.

The second instalment of the mortgage subsidy has been paid.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a final inspection for a house improvement grant will be made for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.

A final inspection will be carried out within the next few weeks.
