asked the Minister for Education when the proposed additional classrooms for Glenderry national school, County Kerry will be sanctioned.

My Department has agreed in principle to grant aid the extension for Glenderry national school, County Kerry. A sketch scheme for the project has been approved and a grant formally sanctioned. My Department's professional staff hope to be in a position to commence shortly the preparation of the tender documentation.

asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction the erection of a post primary school at Mercy Convent, Balloonagh, Tralee, County Kerry.

The bills of quantity for this project have been completed and are satisfactory. The next stage is the invitation of tenders. To determine when the project may proceed further, through the issue from my Department of authorisation to seek tenders, this case must be reviewed in the context of the capital resources available.

asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction the provision of an extension to the primary school at Mercy Convent, Balloonagh, Tralee, County Kerry.

My Department have at present under consideration proposals recently submitted by the school authorities for the completion of the scheme of extension to the primary school at Mercy Convent, Balloonagh, Tralee, County Kerry, and will convey a decision on the matter to the authorities at an early date. I shall arrange to have the Deputy informed of the outcome.
