asked the Minister for Education when outstanding works will be carried out to Clogherinkoe national school, Broadford, County Kildare.

My Department's professional staff is at present making arrangements to have outstanding works at Clogherinkoe national school, Broadford, County Kildare carried out. It is hoped that these works will commence shortly.

asked the Minister for Education the present position with regard to the provision of an extension and extra facilities at Kilcock girls primary school, County Kildare.

My Department in June 1986 sanctioned a grant for the proposed extension and extra facilities to Kilcock girls primary school, County Kildare. My Department is currently in consultation with the Rev. Chairman regarding extra works which he wishes to have carried out at the school and when this aspect of the matter is resolved my Department's professional staff will be asked to proceed with preparation of the tender documentation for the project.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed extension of three classrooms and a general purposes room to the national school at Rathmore, County Kildare.

asked the Minister for Education when the working drawings and bill of quantities for the proposed extension to Rathmore national school, County Kildare will be produced by her Department.

asked the Minister for Education the present position with regard to the provision of an extension to Rathmore national school, Naas, County Kildare; whether work has commenced on the preparation of working drawings and bills of quantities; whether this work is likely to commence in the near future; and if not, the reason for the delay.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 174 to 176, inclusive, together.

My Department's professional staff has been requested to prepare tender documentation for the proposed extension to Rathmore national school, County Kildare, commencing with the working drawings. It has not been possible to attend to this work hitherto because of pressure of other commitments. I have, however, noted the Deputies' concern and have asked that work on the documentation be commenced as soon as possible.
