Approval to prepare the tender report for the proposed extension was conveyed to the County Donegal Vocational Education Committee on 9 March 1987. On receipt of this report and after its examination in the building unit the next stage would be the placing of the contract.
However, to determine when the project may proceed to contract, through the issue from my Department of the necessary authorisation, this case must be reviewed in the context of the capital resources available.
