Vol. 371 No. 6

Written Answers. - Limerick School of Art and Design.

92.

asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the School of Art and Design in Limerick which has a very high reputation, is housed in five different rented locations in Limerick city; if she is aware that these scattered locations make it impossible to co-ordinate the work of the school and lead to considerable expense in rent; and if she has any plans to rehouse the school in one building with proper facilities.

I am aware that the School of Art and Design in Limerick is housed in a number of different locations two of which are owned by the VEC. A proposal submitted by the City of Limerick VEC regarding accommodation in the School of Art and Design is being considered by my Department.
