There are two second level schools in Newport, County Tipperary. It is not clear from the Deputy's question which one is being referred to in this instance.
At one of the schools, which is a vocational school, an extension is at present under construction. At the other school, which is a voluntary secondary school, an extension was completed in early 1981.
