asked the Minister for Education if she will agree to the appointment of a shared remedial teacher for Knock national school, Bekan national school, Coogue national school, Logboy national school and Tulrahan national school, County Mayo which have a total of 448 students of whom 42 are in need of special attention.

A proposal to this effect was received in March of this year and is under investigation. A decision on the matter will be conveyed in due course to the boards of management of the schools concerned.
