asked the Minister for Justice the amount of fees outstanding and unpaid by his Department and each semi-State body, local authority or health board under the aegis of his Department, to architects, quantity surveyors, consulting engineers at 30 April 1987, giving a breakdown showing the length of time for which the various fees are outstanding and unpaid; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Office of Public Works, which handles all major construction works on behalf of my Department, has supplied the following information, which is set out in the form of a tabular statement:
