Vol. 372 No. 10

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

216.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to have a house improvement grant paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny where the work was inspected and passed in February 1986.

The grant will be paid as soon as possible.

217.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will now agree in view of the particulars in the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 10 that a house improvement grant will be paid, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

While the original application in this case was received in July 1986, it had to be returned to the applicant on three separate occasions to have certain information verified. Since there was no record of its eventual return to the Department, a new application form was completed by the applicant on 25 February 1987. However, as an inspection in response to that application had not been carried out by 27 March, a grant cannot be allowed.

218.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding a house improvement grant due to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

219.
