Vol. 372 No. 10

Written Answers. - Dún Laoghaire Court Accommodation.

54.

asked the Minister for Justice the steps, if any, he intends taking to ensure that adequate provision is made to provide a proper building for the District Court in Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin; if a new courthouse should be built such as the one provided for Bray District Court, County Wicklow; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Responsibility for the provision of court accommodation in Dún Laoghaire Borough is vested in Dún Laoghaire Corporation by section 7 (3) of the Courthouses (Provision and Maintenance) Act, 1935. The provision of a new courthouse would, therefore, be a matter for the corporation.
