Vol. 372 No. 12

Written Answers. - Health Schemes.

78.

asked the Minister for Health if he will give a breakdown on the number of clients using each of the various health schemes, programmes and services.

I regret that I do not have the information in the detailed breakdown in which it has been sought by the Deputy, nor do I consider it reasonable to put all of the agencies involved in the health area to the expense and difficulty of collecting it, having regard to other work priorities in the services at this time. I would draw the Deputy's attention to the comprehensive information contained in the Health Statistics report of 1986 and the latest report on the health services published by my Department.
