asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a £2,000 new house grant to persons (details supplied) in County Louth as the inspection was carried out in December, 1986; and when payment will be made.

The grant was paid to the builder on 13 February 1987.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of a new house grant.

An inspection with a view to payment of the grant will be carried out within the next few weeks.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 5.

As an inspection was not carried out on or before 27 March 1987 a grant cannot be allowed.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will ensure that the £5,000 house surrender grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 who has been awaiting payment for some time.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will define the term substantially completed in relation to an unfinished new house for which grant aid has been sought; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
