Vol. 373 No. 2

Private Members' Business. - Estimates for Public Services, 1987.

I understand that in respect of the Vote 44 — Office of the Minister for Foreign Affairs (Revised Estimates) and Vote 45 — International Co-operation (Revised Estimate) the demand for a division has been withdrawn.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs has agreed a meeting between Deputy De Rossa and myself to discuss the question of overseas development aid and disaster relief and, on that basis, we are not opposing the Estimates.

Go raibh maith agat.

Accordingly I put the question that the motions in respect of Vote 44, Office of the Minister for Foreign Affairs (Revised Estimate) and Vote 45, International Co-operation (Revised Estimate) are hereby agreed.

Votes put and agreed to.

With the permission of the House we will move on to Item No. 15, Votes 48, 49 and 41 (Revised Estimates).
