(Limerick East) asked the Minister for Justice if his attention has been drawn to the serious concern of many citizens about video films generally described as video nasties; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 15 and 43 together.
As I have already stated in public and in this House, I hope to bring proposals for legislation to control the distribution of video films before the Government at an early date.
