Vol. 373 No. 10

Written Answers. - Education of Physically Handicapped Children.

81.

asked the Minister for Education whether the report The Education of Physically Handicapped Children has been accepted as her Department's policy; if not, the status of the report; if the schools involved in the particular field should be seeking to implement various recommendations of the report; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The majority of the recommendations contained in the report The Education of Physically Handicapped Children refer to the restructuring of existing services rather than the provision of new services. A number of the recommendations have already been implemented and the matter is subject to constant review.
