asked the Minister for Defence the various rates of gratuity for members of An Fórsa Cosanta Áitiúil since the inception of the force in 1946; the amounts paid as gratuity for the years 1968, 1969, 1978, 1979, 1983, 1984, 1985 and 1986 and to 30 September 1987; and the plans, if any, he has to change the method of paying gratuities.
