Vol. 374 No. 8

Written Answers. - Departments' Premises.

39.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will make a statement outlining the number of buildings, offices and other premises which are privately owned but are at present under lease to Government Departments and semi-State bodies; the rents payable in each case; a summary of the terms of the lease; and the number of staff in each case.

40.

asked the Minister for Finance the buildings and sites in the ownership of his Department; the locations of same; if they are at present in use by his Department; if not, the use which is proposed for them; when it is envisaged to utilise the site or building; the proposals, is any, there are to dispose of the buildings or sites; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 39 and 40 together.

To furnish the detailed information sought in these questions would entail the use of resources of time and manpower which I do not consider would be warranted. However, if the Deputy is concerned about a particular premises and furnishes me with details, I will see what can be done to provide him with the required information.
