Vol. 374 No. 8

Written Answers. - Dublin/Belfast Road Conversion.

64.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he has approved and allocated funds for the conversion of the Dublin/Belfast road on the section between the Swords by-pass, County Dublin and the Dublin Airport entrance to a dual carriageway; when work will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Proposals for improvement of the national primary route at this location were received from Dublin County Council in August 1987 and are under consideration in my Department. At this stage, I am not in a position to say when funds might be available for the works in question.
