Vol. 374 No. 10

Written Answers. - Co-Ordinating Committee on Exports.

67.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if the State is a member of or a party to the international group known as the Co-Ordinating Committee on Exports (COCOM); if it is not a party, if it follows the COCOM list of products which may not be exported to certain countries; if so, the products and the names of the countries to which the prohibition applied; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Because of its militarily neutral status the State is not a member of or a party to COCOM. That body does not make its lists available to nonmembers.
