asked the Minister for the Marine if he will give details of the Government's official policy concerning (a) dumping at sea and (b) incineration at sea.

Dumping at sea and incineration at sea are regulated under the terms of the London Convention on the Prevention of Marine Pollution by Dumping of Wastes and Other Matter and the Oslo Convention for the Prevention of Marine Pollution by Dumping from Ships and Aircraft to which Ireland is a party.
