asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of a grant in respect of farm buildings will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

A claim under the farm improvement programme for payment of a grant of £1,270 has been received and will be paid as soon as practicable. All claims under the programme are dealt with strictly in order of receipt. Due to existing budgetary constraints, there is some delay in making grant payments.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in County Waterford has been approved for installation aid for young farmers.

The application in this case cannot be further processed until the applicant furnishes evidence that his title to the land in question has been registered in the Land Registry.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

No notification has been received by the local farm development service office that the works in question have been completed. On receipt of such notification, the works will be inspected with a view to certification for payment, if everything is found to be in order. Due to existing budgetary constraints there is some delay in making grant payments.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a farm improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

A claim under the farm modernisation scheme for payment of a grant of £2,040 has been received and will be paid as soon as practicable. All claims under the scheme are dealt with strictly in order of receipt. Due to existing budgetary constraints, there is some delay in making grant payments.
