Written Answers. - Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, 1980.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if any orders have been made by him under section 54 of the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, 1980 requiring that contracts in relation to particular goods or services be in writing.

81.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if, since its enactment in 1980, any use has been made of the power granted to him in section 53 of the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, to regulate the size of print used in writing contracts for the sale of goods or services to consumers.

82.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if and when an order has been made under section 51 of the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, 1980, requiring that certain categories of information be included in a consumer contract in writing.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 79, 81 and 82 together. To date no orders have been made under section 51, 53 or 54 of the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, 1980.
