asked the Minister for Health in relation to mother and baby home facilities, the number of places provided in each community care area for (i) pregnant women and (ii) mothers and their offspring; the agency responsible; and in each case the amount of public money provided in 1986.

There are seven mother and baby homes dealing with both women who are pregnant and women who have babies, and one infant nursing home. The attached tabular statement gives the details requested by the Deputy.
