Written Answers - Grant and Mortgage Subsidy Payment.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a house improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Louth; and when payment will be made.

The receipt of certain information requested from the applicant is awaited.

asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a mortgage subsidy will be made to persons details supplied in County Clare.

The fourth instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be paid as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when the third instalment of a mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a mortgage subsidy from the person named at the address given.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Clare; and the reason for the undue delay.

An inspection, with a view to payment of the grant will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a mortgage subsidy will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The first instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be paid as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a house improvement grant was reduced from £4,800 to £3,000 for a person (details suplied) in County Roscommon, taking into consideration that this person gave the contractor £9,000 to carry out the work.

The appropriate grant cannot be finally determined until certain information requested from the applicant is received.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a house improvement grant was reduced from £4,000 to £3,660 for a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon taking into consideration that the contractor was paid £7,500.

The total grants paid in this case related to the actual costs of the various categories of works carried out.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid the outstanding balances of a mortgage subsidy.

There is no record of the receipt of a mortgage subsidy application from the person named at the address given. There is, however, an application from a person with the same surname and from the same address. In that case the second and third instalments of the mortgage subsidy (£1,400) were paid on 3 November 1987.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid a new house grant.

The receipt of additional documentation requested from the applicant is awaited.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange for the immediate payment of a mortgage subsidy to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The third instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be paid as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when the second instalment of a new house grant which has been due since last February will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

The first instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be paid as soon as possible; the second instalment will be paid when the applicant submits the claim form duly completed and certified by the lending agency.
