Vol. 376 No. 1

Written Answers - St. Michael's House, Ballymun, Funding.

183.

asked the Minister for Health the funding, if any, which is being provided for St. Michael's House for handicapped children, to provide a crisis intervention service, which would relieve parents caring for handicapped children at home.

A sum of £50,000 from the proceeds of the national lottery is being made available to St. Michael's House to enable them to operate a short term residential service in Dublin south. My Department is also considering various options which would enable a similar service to be brought into operation at St. Michael's House, Ballymun.
