(a) The estimated expenditure of visitors to Ireland, including the passenger fare receipts of Irish carriers from visitors to Ireland, was £591 million in 1984, £685 million in 1985 and £649 million in 1986.
(b) Such expenditure was 4 per cent of gross national product in 1984, 4.5 per cent in 1985 and 4 per cent in 1986.
