Vol. 376 No. 1

Written Answers - Agricultural Policy.

88.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food in view of his decision to exclude the ICMSA from the talks which he had with farm organisations on Friday 13 November, to discuss the ACOT-AFT merger, if he will indicate if the ICMSA and its members have an input to make to the Government's agricultural policy matters.

The discussions on 13 November took place in the context of the Programme for National Recovery. As the ICMSA were not party to that agreement they could not be included in the talks.

I had a very full and constructive meeting with the ICMSA on 27 November and I am confident that we will have a series of such meetings over the coming months.
