Vol. 376 No. 5

Written Answers. - Departmental Redundancy.

114.

asked the Minister for Tourism and Transport if there is a policy of enforced redundancy in his Department; and if not, if he will review the position of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 3 who has not applied for redundancy.

The policy of my Department is in line with the Government's voluntary redundancy policy as set out in the Programme for National Recovery. In accordance with that policy, efforts are being made to secure alternative employment for the person who is the subject of the Deputy's question.
