asked the Minister for the Environment if he will allocate a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A decision in this case must await the receipt of additional information requested from the applicant.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford whose house was inspected and passed in October, 1987.

There has been no undue delay; the grant will be paid as soon as possible.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

An inspection with a view to payment of the grant will be carried out as soon as possible.
