In accordance with the proposal contained in the Programme for National Recovery, I have introduced a Bill in Seanad Eireann to provide for worker participation at sub-board levels in a broad range of State enterprises. The Bill had its Second Stage reading in that House yesterday.
The Bill provides also for the extension of worker director arrangements to two further State enterprises — Aer Rianta and the National Rehabilitation Board.
