asked the Taoiseach if he will make a statement indicating the number of persons unemployed in Clondalkin, Dublin 22 on the latest occasion for which figures are available; and if he will give comparable figures for each of the last four years.
The number of persons on the live register at Clondalkin local employment office on 29 January 1988 was 4,103. The corresponding figure for 30 January 1987 was 4,040. Since this local office only opened on 3 November 1986 there are no figures available for previous years.

The number of persons on the live register at Tallaght local employment office on 29 January 1988 was 6,290. The corresponding figure for 30 January 1987 was 5,981 and for 31 January 1986 was 4,968. Since this local office only opened on 12 August 1985 there are no figures available for previous years.
