Vol. 377 No. 7

Written Answers. - Land Registry Application

45.

asked the Minister for Justice the present position regarding a land registry application for persons (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will expedite the matter.

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that, in the ordinary course, consideration of this application is expected to be finalised at an early date. I think I ought to indicate that priority cannot be given to particular applications except at the expense of other applications. While the registry can consider requests for expedition based on special circumstances giving rise to urgency, I am informed that such a request is unnecessary at this stage in relation to the case in question.
