asked the Minister for Health if he has made provision in his 1988 Estimates for the commissioning cost of £1.68 million, the staffing proposals and other operating costs amounting to £2.06 million in connection with the extension to the general hospital, Mullingar, County Westmeath; and, if so, when he will approve such expenditure and enable this much needed extension to be opened.
