Vol. 378 No. 1

Written Answers. - National Lottery Beneficiaries.

16.

asked the Minister for Finance the projects in the area covered by the Dublin north-central constituency which have benefited from the national lottery.

Of the £1.8 million of national lottery funds allocated by the Government to the Office of Public Works, £200,000 is for a landscaping project at the Casino, Marino, national monument.

The selection of individual projects within the broad programme allocations decided by Government is the responsibility of the Ministers concerned. Detailed questions about the projects on which lottery funds are to be spent should be addressed to the Ministers concerned. Apart from the allocation to the Office of Public Works, allocations of lottery funds have also been made to the Departments of Education, Environment, the Taoiseach, Health, Social Welfare, the Gaeltacht and Foreign Affairs.
