The allocation of national lottery funds to different spending areas is decided by Government. Spending Ministers are responsible for the selection of individual projects within their own areas. Detailed questions about the issue of grants to recipient bodies should therefore be addressed to the Ministers concerned. The allocation of funds to projects in the area of the arts and national culture, such as this one, is the responsibility of the Taoiseach.
