Vol. 378 No. 9

Written Answers. - Tax Rebate.

41.

asked the Minister for Finance when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will receive a tax rebate.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that the inspector of taxes who deals with the taxpayer's income tax affairs has been unable to trace receipt of a repayment claim in this case. In the circumstances the inspector will communicate directly with the taxpayer in the matter.

On the basis of the taxpayer's latest return of income, she does not appear to be entitled to a refund of tax.
