Vol. 379 No. 5

Written Answers. - Louth Taxi Rank.

66.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the continuing delay in giving sanction to the extension of the taxi rank at Laurence Street, Drogheda, County Louth; and when sanction will now be given.

There has been no undue delay in giving a decision in relation to this matter.

The Drogheda Appointed Stands Bylaws, 1988, which provide for the extension of the existing appointed stand at Laurence Street, Drogheda were made by the Garda Commissioner on 28 January 1988 and submitted for my consideration on 3 February 1988.

I will give my decision in the very near future.
