asked the Minister for Education if she will make a statement on the problems being experienced in O'Connell's Schools (details supplied) in Dublin 1; and the action she proposes to take in this regard.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 260 and 269 together.
The correspondence from the school in question was responded to verbally, by telephone, last December. As the Deputies will be aware, proposals regarding the staffing of national schools are under discussion at present. When these proposals are finalised the circumstances of this school will be further examined.
